50.42 km ring road will be built in Haldwani in four phases

The first phase will be from Lamachod to Futkuan Sugarcane Center and the second phase will be from Sugarcane Center to Motahaldu

Haldwani. In order to reduce the traffic load in the city and get rid of jams, the process of construction of ring road in Haldwani city has been expedited. Secretary Public Works Department Dr. Pankaj Pandey took a review meeting regarding Ring Road at Circuit House. Instructed the officers of the department to start the work in Sector 1 and Sector 4.
A 50.42 kilometer ring road is proposed around Haldwani city. Which is divided into 4 sectors. The first sector is proposed from Lamachod to Futkuan Sugarcane Center. In the second sector, construction work is to be done from Sugarcane Center to Mothaldu. While in the third sector, a ring road is to be constructed from Motahaldu to Nariman Kathgodam via Kheda Gaulapar.
Work is to be done from the fourth sector, Nariman Square, via Gulab Ghati, via Bura Paniyali, till near Fatehpur. Dr. Pandey instructed the officers that other departmental works including land acquisition and transfer of forest land should be completed in time to start the construction work of the first and fourth sectors. Many officers including District Magistrate Vandana, ADM PR Chauhan, EE Lonivi Ashok Chaudhary were present in the meeting.
