Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana to be launched to provide roads to villages with 250 population
Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced a 50 per cent discount in fares for candidates appearing in competitive examinations on the day of examination in transport corporation buses. For this, the Chief Minister Competitive Examinee Transport Scheme will be started in the state.
The Chief Minister also announced the launch of Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana to provide roads to villages with a population of 250 or more. The government has also decided to implement computer and information technology education from Class 6 to strengthen the base of children in government schools in the field of technical education.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made these announcements at a program organized at Rangers Ground on the completion of one year tenure of the state government. He said that not all schools in the state have laboratories. To overcome this shortage, labs on wheels will be set up in all 13 districts. The state will be developed as a science and information technology corridor. Science and Information Technology Innovation Policy will be brought to expand information technology in the state.
