Haridwar. On the Haridwar-Najibabad highway, there was a head-on collision between a car and a tractor-trolley of Kanwariyas near Pili Hotel on Sunday. The youth in the car died while his father and the driver were injured.
On Sunday, there was a face-to-face collision between the trolley carrying Kanwars from Haridwar and the car coming from Najibabad. Three people in the car were seriously injured in the collision of both. SHO Shyampur Vinod Thapliyal said that the car collided with a tractor trolley while overtaking. The injured were sent to the district hospital by 108 ambulances. During this Sanjay (45) resident of Clementown Dehradun died, while his father Naresh Pal has been referred to AIIMS in critical condition. At the same time, the treatment of car driver Sanjay’s son Gurdin is going on in the district hospital. Dr. Chandan Mishra of the district hospital said that one of the three people had died before reaching the hospital.
