Accused escapes from police custody by scaling police station wall

One of the accused, arrested on charges of theft at the temple, escaped by scaling the wall of the police station after returning from the toilet. The escape of the accused has caused a stir in the police. Police teams are searching for the absconding accused.
Three days ago, unidentified thieves had committed a theft at the Garibd Bhanjan temple located near Kankhal crematorium and stole a lot of goods including CCTV installed in the temple.
While investigating the case, the Kankhal police station arrested Ravi alias Sardar and his brother Jitendra alias Chavanni, son of Gopal Singh, residents of Bada Apathi.
Akhada Kankhal was arrested. The police had also recovered the stolen goods from the possession of the accused. On Friday, when the police were preparing to present the two in court, Ravi alias Sardar said that he would go to the toilet. After which Munshi, posted in the police station, took him to the toilet built in the police station premises. The accused came out of the toilet.
And went to wash his hands. Ravi alias Sardar escaped by scaling the wall of the police station. There was a stir in the police as the accused escaped. The police immediately launched a search for him. But nothing was known. Sp City Swatantra Kumar Singh said that police teams of all police stations have been deployed in search of the absconding accused. The accused will be arrested soon. A separate case has been registered against the accused for escaping from police custody.
