Dehradun. Police has arrested the accused who looted five lakh rupees from a farmer in Herbertpur of Vikasnagar. Accused Amit Kumar is a history sheeter of Metal Gang of Moradabad.
Dehradun SSP Dalip Singh Kunwar said that on May 23 last month, two bike-borne miscreants had looted five lakh rupees from Sherdin, a Jat resident of Sahaspur, in broad daylight. Police arrested history-sheeter Amit Kumar from Delhi on Wednesday after investigation. He was waiting for the bus to Moradabad.
Amit Kumar is a resident of Adarsh Colony Civil Line, Moradabad. His second accomplice Avinash alias Mohit is still absconding. The police has started looking for him too. History-sheeter Amit Kumar was all set to leave Delhi for Moradabad, but then the police caught him.
