The girl’s father and mother strangled her to death (honor killing) due to her love affair with a neighboring youth. Later, the dead body was taken to Azimnagar of the original village Rampur. The post mortem report has confirmed murder by strangulation.

CO City Niharika Tomar said that Shabana, 15-year-old daughter of Paharganj resident Shafi Ahmed, died under suspicious circumstances on Saturday. After the incident, the relatives took the body to Azimnagar, Rampur (Uttar Pradesh) for burial. Meanwhile, someone informed the police that Shabana was having an affair with her neighbor Salman. Due to this, his mother Khatoon Jahan and father Shafi Ahmed strangled him to death.
