Belda Roorkee case will be fair investigation under the chairmanship of DGP

The delegation led by the Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Commission met the Chief Minister and got assurance.

As a delegation regarding the Belda Roorkee episode, met the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, through a memorandum, a written letter was given to the innocent people to withdraw the case immediately. The Chief Minister assured that appropriate action would be taken to restore peace in the area.
The Chief Minister said that no atmosphere of anarchy would be allowed to arise in Uttarakhand. No one will be allowed to take law in their hands. An inquiry committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the DGP for a fair probe into the matter. All possible help will be provided to the victim’s family.
Financial help will be given. One of the family is being considered for a job. Scheduled Caste Commission Chairman Mukesh Kumar, Scheduled Caste Commission member Shyamal Kumar, former MLA Deshraj Karanwal etc. were honored on this occasion
