Bike riding teacher dies after falling into pit in Haldwani, student crushed by car

Haldwani. A teacher from Gangolihat and a B.Ed student from Dharchula died in two separate road accidents in Mukhani police station area of Haldwani. A woman died due to dengue.
According to the information, bike rider teacher Jeevan Prakash Pant (34), son of Chandra Shekhar Pant, resident of Adarsh Colony, Lohriyashal Malla, Haldwani, died after falling into a pit caused by rain in front of Whitehall School in Mukhani police station area at around 1030 pm on Monday night. . Jeevan, originally from Gangolihat Pithoragarh, was an English teacher at Hargovind Suyal Inter College.
In the second incident, Asha Budiyal (25), daughter of Dayan Singh Budiyal, resident of Bandi Dharchula, Pithoragarh, was crushed by an uncontrolled car during her morning walk in Lamachaud area on Tuesday, who died before reaching STH. Asha was doing B.Ed from Bajpur while living on rent with her younger brother Vishnu, who was doing B.Tech from Amrapali Institute. Asha has an elder sister and two younger brothers, while her father is a businessman.
