Strategy for upcoming elections and cabinet expansion will be discussed
Dehradun. BJP national president JP Nadda is visiting Uttarakhand on Sunday amidst preparations for upcoming Lok Sabha and local body elections and discussion on expansion of Dhami cabinet.
Apart from participating in various programs in Haridwar, he will take a meeting of the BJP’s provincial core committee in the afternoon. BJP National President Nadda will reach Jollygrant Airport at 9.30 am on Sunday, from where he will leave for Haridwar by car.
National President Nadda will plant saplings at Amrit Vatika established in the Rishikul University campus at 10.30 am. He will also listen to the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat program along with BJP workers at the university auditorium. After this, he is scheduled to address the Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam lecture at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Gayatri Kunj.
BJP’s national president JP Nadda will take a meeting of BJP’s provincial core committee held at Godwin Hotel in the afternoon. In this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, former Chief Minister, MP and other members of the core committee will participate. According to BJP’s State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, the meeting will review the programs of the BJP so far and decide the upcoming programs.
General Secretary Aditya Kothari said that naturally there will be a discussion on the proposed municipal body in the state in October-November and the strategy for the next year’s Lok Sabha elections. BJP President Nadda will attend the Ganga Aarti at Harki Paidi in the evening. He will leave for Delhi late at night.
