Police arrest ex-MLA for not helping him years ago

Rudrapur. The accused, who threatened to kill former BJP MLA Rajesh Shukla over the phone, has been arrested by the police. The accused has been a mandal minister of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
Rajesh Shukla, a former MLA from Kichha, had received death threats along with his family. The former MLA had lodged a complaint with the police after receiving threats over the phone. The police have arrested the accused. It is being told that the accused was angry with Rajesh Shukla for not helping him years ago, due to this resentment he has threatened them. It is alleged that he has also threatened to blow up Shukla’s family members. After this, when he disconnected the phone, the accused also made many more calls. According to Shukla, the accused identified himself as Sanjay Thakur, a resident of Bara. He then complained to the police about the investigation of the matter. According to the police, the accused has been identified as Sunny, a resident of Bandia. Who has been taken into custody.
During interrogation, the accused revealed that he used to work in a company in Sidkul a few years ago, where former MLA Rajesh Shukla, who arrived in any case, did not help him. He was upset with the former MLA for this. At present, the young man is being described as psycho. CO Om Prakash Sharma said that the matter is being investigated. The accused has also been a booth agent of the BJP and a divisional minister of the Kichha Youth Morcha.
