Bride and groom stomach upset before varmala
100 people fell ill after eating the food of the wedding feast
One by one 100 people fell ill at a wedding ceremony in Sultanpur. The bride and groom reached the hospital even before the varmala. About 100 people, including Barati and Gharati, started having stomach pain and vomiting. All were admitted to nearby hospitals.
The case pertains to Sirkhipur village under Akhand Nagar police station area of the district. Amarjit’s daughter Soni’s wedding procession came from Rajapur village of Shahganj in Jaunpur district. At 9 pm, the baraatis took entry for further programs after Dwar Pujan. Breakfast – Everyone’s condition started deteriorating after drinking water.
