Case of Ujala Nagar, case filed against groom and his family
Haldwani. In Ujala Nagar under Banbhulpura police station area, a case of breaking the marriage has come to the fore for not getting a car in dowry. Before bringing the baraat, the groom placed a demand for the car. When the bride’s family expressed their inability, the groom’s family broke off the relationship. On the complaint of the victim’s family, the police registered a case against the groom and his family members and started investigation.
While giving a complaint to the police, a resident of Ujala Nagar of Banbhulpura police station area said that his daughter’s marriage was fixed in November 2021 among 50 people with a youth resident of Azad Nagar in the city. Where about two and a half lakhs were spent in the engagement ceremony. People from both sides continued to visit their homes. Where Rs 7.50 lakh was spent as a gift. Meanwhile the date of marriage was to be fixed. As soon as the date of marriage came near, the people of the groom’s side demanded a car.
When the daughter’s father expressed his inability, the boys refused to marry. Due to this the daughter’s father and his family are mentally disturbed. He has demanded action from the police against the accused. Banbhulpura police has registered a case against Akil Ahmed, Wasim Ahmed, Naseem on the Tahrir of the aggrieved party. Also, the police say that a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint of the victim. Action will be taken against the accused soon
