The network of fraudsters caught in Himachal extends up to Uttarakhand. The CBI raided Dehradun and Haridwar and interrogated many people. However, no arrest has been made. The online examination was held on 27 March 2022 for the recruitment of 1334 constables in Himachal Pradesh. The result of this examination was declared on April 5, 2022. After the result came, the matter of rigging came to the fore. On May 6, 2022, investigation was started by registering a case in this regard in Kangra. After this the Himachal government constituted a SIT.
SIT arrested 227 accused during several months of investigation. A large number of candidates were also involved in this. Due to big scams in the examination, the investigation was handed over to the CBI on 30 November 2022 by the government.
