Cheap tomatoes will be available in Haldwani Mandi from Sunday

Made 4 counters, one kg tomatoes will be given to one person under first come first serve scheme
In order to give relief to the common consumers from the rising prices of tomatoes, the market committee will sell tomatoes to the people in retail.
According to Market Secretary Digvijay Singh Dev, 4 counters will be made for this in the market premises. Every day the market committee will give tomatoes to the people at lower prices than the retail market. Told that for this, four counters will be opened in the Mandi premises from Sunday. In this, under the first come first serve scheme, one kg of tomatoes will be given to a person. Tomatoes will be sold everyday till the rates become normal.
There is a huge decrease in the arrival of vegetables in Naveen Mandi Haldwani. Because of this the prices are increasing. In the month of June, where there used to be an average arrival of 250 quintals of tomatoes daily, it has now come down to 19 quintals. Similar is the case with bottle gourd, bitter gourd and green chillies as well as other essential vegetables
