Haldwani. Uttarakhand’s Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, DGP Abhinav Kumar and ADG Law and Order AP Anshuman reached Haldwani to take stock of the situation after the violence in Banbhulpura. The Chief Secretary said, “We will first study the entire situation thoroughly and then see what its legal points are. If any action is taken against the government, action will be taken against whoever is guilty. We will study the situation completely. After this, we will give detailed information to the Chief Minister…Strictest action will be taken against the rioters.”
Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi said, “We held a meeting here and completely inspected the situation. The government is also of the same view that peace and order will be restored, the law of the country will be implemented. The situation in Haldwani will be resolved as soon as possible.” Will be normalized. I appeal to all citizens not to spread any rumor and maintain peace.”
