Corona knocks in Uttarakhand: Two women from Gujarat and Bengaluru infected

Dehradun: Corona infection has knocked once again in Uttarakhand. Two new cases of corona virus have been confirmed in the state, one of which is a doctor of Rishikesh AIIMS and the other is a woman from Gujarat. Director General of Health Dr. Sunita Tamta informed that both the women have a travel history and when corona-like symptoms were found, they were tested, in which they were found positive.
The woman from Gujarat had reached Rishikesh to listen to religious discourses. She was already suffering from many serious diseases and now she has been admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh, where her treatment is going on. At the same time, the other woman is a doctor of Rishikesh AIIMS, whose condition is stable and she has been kept in home isolation.
Dr. Tamta said that at present no case of infection has been reported locally in the state, but these two cases coming from outside states are being taken seriously. The health department has increased vigilance and the related contacts are also being identified.
The Directorate General of Health has appealed to the general public that if anyone shows symptoms like corona, then they should get tested immediately and be cautious. Also, the monitoring system regarding corona is being reactivated in the state so that the spread of infection can be stopped.
This situation may be initial, but the health department is fully alert about any potential danger.
