Jauljibi incident of Dharchula in Pithodagarh district, accused arrested
Pithoragarh. Cousins had a fight over a dispute over drinking at Jauljibi in Dharchula of Pithoragarh district. He killed his cousin by hitting him on the head with a sickle.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Narayan Singh. On the father’s Tahrir, the police registered a case against the accused cousin Hayat Singh and arrested him.
According to the police, Narayan Singh, son of Netra Singh of Chifaltara, had gone to work as a laborer in the village. Hayat Singh also reached there. After work, both of them drank alcohol together and on some issue there was an argument between the two. Then both reached the market and drank alcohol again.
There was a fight between the two in the market as well. Hayat attacked Narayan Singh on the head with a sickle and he died. Jauljibi in-charge Inspector Ashok Kumar told that the police arrested the accused from Kauli Kanyal Pul Jauljibi
