Dehradun. The date of opening of the doors of world famous Badrinath Dham will be decided on 14th February in Narendranagar (Tehri Garhwal) after the calculation of Vidhi Vidhan Panchang. In the presence of Maharaja Manujendra Shah, MP Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah, Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee Chairman Ajendra Ajay, Princess Shirja Shah and Badrinath Dham Rawal, Rajpurohit Acharya Krishna Prasad Uniyal will decide the date of opening of the doors of Badrinath Dham. Maharaja Manujendra Shah will announce the date of opening of doors.
Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur said that the religious ceremony will start from 10 am on February 14 to traditionally fix the date of opening of the doors of Shri Badrinath Dham at Rajmahal Narendra Nagar. After puja and almanac calculation, the date of opening of doors will be announced by noon. The date of Tel Kalash Yatra will also be decided on the same day.
Rawal Ishwar Prasad of Badrinath Dham, Committee Officer of Namboodiri Temple, Dimri Central Panchayat Officer will be present in the program to decide the date of opening of doors. The date of opening of the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will be decided on the occasion of Shivratri on Friday, March 8, at the Panch Kedar Gaddi site, Shri Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath (Rudraprayag), after the calculation of the calendar according to the rituals. On the same day, the program for departure of Panchmukhi Bhogamurti of Lord Kedarnath to Kedarnath Dham will also be decided.
