Death of two people going to crematorium to attend neighbor’s funeral in Ramnagar

Accident happened on Ranikhet highway, both scooty riders were crushed by private bus

Ramnagar. A scooty was crushed by a private bus near the Roadways Depot located on Ranikhet Highway in Ramnagar. An ex-serviceman and tourism businessman died in the accident. Both were going to the crematorium to attend their neighbor’s funeral.
Bharatpuri resident former soldier Vikram Singh Negi (44) son late. Elderly Indramani Pandey, neighbor of Jagat Singh Negi and tourism businessman Girish Chandra Pandey (49) son Kishan Pandey, died late on Thursday. On Friday morning at around half past two, both were going to the crematorium by a scooty to attend the last rites of a neighbour. According to the police, a private bus on the Ramnagar-Kashipur route coming at a high speed from behind near the roadways ran over the scooty riders. After a few percent, the scooty entered under the bus. After this, the bus stopped at a high speed after hitting the car parked in front.

Ex-serviceman and tourist businessman trapped under the bus were taken out and taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared both dead.
