The accident happened due to the collapse of the roof of the stepwell built in the premises of Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple on Ram Navami.
Indore. So far 35 people have died in the accident that took place in Indore on Thursday, the day of Ram Navami.
Indore DM DrIlaiyaraaja T said that many people had fallen due to the collapse of the roof over the stepwell built in the Sri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal temple complex in Patel Nagar near Sneh Nagar. Since the incident at around 11.30 am, the rescue operation has been going on till now. After the accident, 18 injured people were admitted to the hospital. 35 people have died. One person is still missing. Teams of Army, NDRF and SDRF are carrying out search and rescue operations
