Dehradun: ‘Operation Sindoor’ will be taught in madrasas of Uttarakhand, children will get lessons on the valor of the army

Dehradun. In the madrasas of Uttarakhand, now the students will be given information about the unique valor of the Indian Army, ‘Operation Sindoor’. For this purpose, the Uttarakhand Madrasa Board has decided that ‘Operation Sindoor’ will be included as a chapter in the upcoming curriculum. Board Chairman Mufti Shamoon Qasmi gave this information after meeting Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi.

Qasmi said that Uttarakhand is the land of soldiers and the children here can further intensify the feeling of patriotism by being inspired by the valor and sacrifice of the army. He said that ‘Operation Sindoor’ is a symbol of the valor and resolve of the Indian Army, which has been unanimously appreciated by the people of the country. The Indian Armed Forces showed extraordinary courage in this campaign.

At present, there are 451 registered madrasas in Uttarakhand in which about 50 thousand children are getting education. According to the board chairman, it is necessary to make these children aware of the heroic saga of the army so that they too can know the glorious history of the country and get inspired.

In a meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Sunday evening, a delegation of educationists and intellectuals congratulated him for the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’. The delegation included defense expert Qamar Agha, former president of Islamic Center Siraj Qureshi, ICFA President MJ Khan and many other prominent people.

After the meeting, Qasmi said that a meeting of the curriculum committee will be called soon, in which a final decision will be taken on the process of including ‘Operation Sindoor’ in the madrasa curriculum. He also said that this initiative will work to increase national consciousness among children and awaken a sense of respect for the Indian Army.

This decision is being considered an important step towards connecting education in Uttarakhand with an inclusive and nationalistic approach.
