Differences between army and government increased in Pakistan, fear of coup

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, a ceasefire agreement was signed under the mediation of America with the aim of reducing the tension between India and Pakistan. The governments of India and Pakistan had agreed to this. But just four hours after the announcement of this ceasefire, Pakistan violated it. Ignoring the orders of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Pakistani army once again tried to send a drone into Indian areas, which was promptly foiled by the Indian Army.
This action of the Pakistani army has not only increased tension in India-Pak relations again, but there are signs of power struggle within Pakistan as well. It is believed that the differences between the army and the government have increased to such an extent that fears of coup are also being expressed.
The Indian Army foiled the attempts of Pakistani drone attacks in Barmer of Rajasthan, Firozpur, Gurdaspur, Pathankot of Punjab and Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir. After this, a precautionary blackout was declared in Firozpur. Alarm sirens started ringing in the city and the administration appealed to people to stay indoors, close shops and turn off vehicle headlights.

Violations of the ceasefire agreement by Pakistan were started in many parts of the International Border and the Line of Control (LoC). After this development, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Indian Army were instructed to respond with full preparation. It was already made clear by India that if Pakistan violates the ceasefire, it will be responded to strictly.

So far, one Pakistani drone each has been shot down in Pokhran in Rajasthan and Baramulla in Kashmir. This entire situation has once again proved that the control of Pakistan’s government over its army is very weak and it remains a serious threat to regional peace.
