Dowry death FIR registered after five years

Tired of running around the police, now the case is on the order of the court

A married woman was murdered five years ago in Mishrauli village of Bhore police station area of ​​Gopalganj district for not getting a bike in dowry. After no action was taken by the police, the father of the deceased woman approached the court. The case has now been registered after five years after the court’s order.
According to the information, Jairam Yadav, a resident of Mishrauli village of the police station area, had married his daughter on May 1, 2018, with Raj Kishore Yadav of Mathauli village. She was constantly being harassed for dowry for the bike. Meanwhile, on August 17, 2018, he was strangled to death and the body was burnt without informing the woman’s family.
In this case, Jairam Yadav, the father of the deceased woman, pleaded with the police officers several times and lodged a complaint with the local police station. No action was taken by the police. Jairam Yadav knocked on the door of the court. The court ordered Bhore police station to file an FIR after five years. In light of this, an FIR has been lodged on Saturday against five people including Gangjali Devi, Mithu Yadav, Rajkishore Yadav. The police is investigating the matter.
