- The journey to one Dham has been fixed for three days, the journey to two Dhams has been fixed for five days, the journey to Three Dhams has been fixed for seven days and the journey to Chardham has been fixed for 10 days.
- No movement of vehicles from 10 pm to 4 am
- Vehicles will not be operated from 10 pm to 4 am during the Chardham Yatra.
- Loud sounds like songs and music from mediums like CD player, pen drive and radio will be prohibited during operation of maxi cabs and motor cabs on the travel routes.
- It is mandatory for all commercial passenger vehicles to obtain green card and vehicle trip card for every trip.
- It is necessary to keep first aid box, fire extinguisher, wooden block and rope in the vehicle. The driver and conductor should be in prescribed uniform.
- In case of bad weather or landslides on mountain routes, the guidelines of the local administration should be followed.
- Entry must be made at the check post while starting the journey and on return.
- Any kind of name or designation boards, sirens, hooters, red, yellow and blue lights are prohibited in the vehicle.
- Pressure horn, multiple horn and glare light will not be used.
- No driver should wash vehicles in water from natural sources.
Sign boards in different languages
Most of the travelers reach Kedarnath from South India, Central India, Maharashtra, Gujarat etc. and North India. Messages, information, sign boards will be put up in the respective dialect language for their easy understanding. In this, three types of sign boards will be installed in Marathi, Gujarati, English, Hindi and Tamil languages according to the geographical conditions of the district.
When will the doors of Dhams open? - 10th May is Akshaya Tritiya and on this day Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham Kapats will open in Abhijeet Muhurta.
- The doors of Kedarnath Dham will also open on 10th May only.
- The doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened on 12 May 2024.
