Haldwani. To bring the city’s traffic system back on track, the police have completely banned e-rickshaws on the main roads. On Saturday, SP City Harbans Singh held a meeting with taxi, auto and tempo operators and instructed them to follow the rules seriously.
Autos plying in the city will be assigned a specific color according to the route they are on. Due to this, autos of one route will not be able to go to another route. However, auto color determination may take up to a week. At present, the main road of the city from Mangal Padav to OK Hotel will remain zero zone. Autos or e-rickshaws will not be able to run here.
