ED raids Bihar leader’s ashram in Haridwar

ED also visited the house close to the leader, questioned and investigated for hours
Haridwar.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided an ashram and a house in north Haridwar. The team reached Haridwar on Tuesday. It is being told that a big leader of Bihar has an investment in Haridwar. The leader has links with the trustees of the ashram and is the house of the leader’s close aide in Ranipur.
The team searched and interrogated the ashram for a long time. The Haridwar police administration, however, denied having knowledge of the ED raid.
An Enforcement Directorate team reached Haridwar on Tuesday. There was a stir when the team arrived at an ashram in north Haridwar. The team members questioned the people present in the ashram and inquired about the trustees etc. The details of the visitors were also ascertained. At the same time, a team also raided Tehri Displaced Colony of Ranipur. It has been told that the whole exercise is to gather information about the assets of a close aide of a big leader of Bihar. The Enforcement Directorate has found that a close aide of the leader has invested money in a property in Haridwar. It is feared that this money belongs to a big leader of Bihar. However, police officials are not officially aware of the raid. There are many discussions about the whole matter.
