ED raids the premises of former minister Harak Singh Rawat

Searches at several places in Uttarakhand, Delhi and Chandigarh in money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday raided the premises of Congress leader and former minister Harak Singh Rawat in a money laundering case. Giving information, official sources said that searches have been conducted at many places in Uttarakhand, Delhi and Chandigarh. Let us tell you, Harak Singh Rawat had left BJP before the 2022 Uttarakhand Assembly elections and joined Congress. It is believed that the ED investigation is related to alleged illegal activities in the Corbett Tiger Reserve of the state.
ED team raided the residence of Harak Singh Rawat in Defense Colony, Dehradun. Action is being taken against those close to Harak Singh. Earlier in August 2023, the Vigilance Department had also taken action against Harak Singh Rawat.
