Mussoorie. A fire broke out in a hotel located on Mussoorie Camel Back Road. Two vehicles were burnt to ashes in the fire. Within no time the fire took a huge form, posing a threat to the surrounding buildings. There was panic among the people as soon as they saw the fire.
The fire department was informed about the fire incident in the hotel. After the information, the team reached the spot and is trying to control the fire. Three fire service vehicles are engaged in fire fighting work on the spot. SHO Shankar Singh Bisht of Mussoorie police station said, “Reconstruction work was going on in this hotel located on Camel Back Road, due to which the hotel is empty and there is no loss of life.”
A massive fire broke out at ‘The Rink’ hotel in Mussoorie. These days reconstruction work is going on in this hotel built in the year 1890. 90 percent wood has been used in the interior of the hotel. Seeing the flames, people informed the fire brigade in the morning. At that time the hotel owner and some laborers were inside. The workers somehow came out, but the fire brigade team brought the owner out safely by breaking the window. The owner is said to be a businessman from Delhi. The fire brigade is busy extinguishing the fire. During the British era, this hotel used to have Asia’s largest wooden skating rink.
