Case filed against youth of particular community, case of Dehradun
Dehradun. On Thursday, a case of rape of a Muslim youth with a Hindu girl has come to the fore. On the pretext of taking the victim for a ride, the accused took her to a tea garden near Vasant Vihar police station and raped her there. The accused was trying to escape but the local people caught him. A case has been registered against the accused Gulfam resident Mehunwala, Noor Basti.
According to Vasant Vihar Police Station Hoshiar Singh Pankholi, a person has given a complaint that his daughter was going towards Sewalakalan in the morning for some work. Meanwhile, the accused Gulfam forcefully made him sit on the bike and took him to a deserted area towards the tea garden. Here the accused gagged the girl and raped her. After this he started running from there when the girl started shouting. Hearing the screams of the victim, the local people caught hold of her. The accused was taken to the police station and handed over to the police, where the police have registered a rape case against the accused
