Forest department dropped 500 seed bombs from drone in Haldwani

Its preparation was going on for the last two years, trial was done in the forest of Manora range
Haldwani
. The Forest Research Center dropped seed bombs on Monday from a drone in Manora range of Nainital Forest Division. It was being prepared for the last two years.

Around 500 seed bombs of different species were dropped in the inaccessible areas of Manora range under the leadership of DFO Kundan Kumar. These areas will be continuously monitored. So that the grown plants can be helped to grow. So that biodiversity can be further strengthened. Apart from this, efforts are being made to prevent landslides by growing saplings in areas where landslides are taking place. The DFO said that this initiative is expected to yield good results
