Rudrapur. A terrible road accident happened on Nainital Highway of Rudrapur. A car hit an e-rickshaw. The accident happened near PAC Gate at 3:15 in the morning. Four people including a pregnant woman died in the accident. These people were returning home after showing the pregnant woman to the district hospital. In the accident, e-rickshaw driver Manoj Sahni (30), Urmila (45), Vibha (35) and pregnant woman Jyoti (20) resident of Bhurani Subhash Colony died in the district hospital. At the same time, Kanti Devi (38), Lalita (36) and car driver Bablu (27) resident of Bareilly are injured. All have been referred to a higher center.
Jyoti’s sister-in-law is Urmila and sister-in-law is Vibha. Urmila’s husband has passed away. Urmila has five children. Urmila works as a laborer. Vibha’s husband Pramod is an LIC agent and they have two children. The injured Lalita is also Urmila’s sister-in-law. Deceased Manoj has four children. Deceased Manoj lived in Saraswati Vihar Colony near RAN School. Jyoti was a resident of Bihar and was married one and a half years ago. Jyoti’s husband Ravindra Sahni works in a company. Deceased Jyoti’s mother-in-law Kanti Devi is admitted in Bareilly.
