Divorced woman files case against friends and rape accused
Rudpur . A 25-year-old woman of Bilaspur police station area, who was living separately after divorce from her husband, was made hostage by her own friends. The friends also sold the woman for Rs 70,000 and the accused raped her. The woman somehow managed to escape and lodged a report against the accused at the Bilaspur police station.
Station in-charge Jagdish Chandra told that this incident is from Mullana area of Ambala. After registering zero FIR, the case has been transferred to Mullana police station. The woman told that she had gone to her friend Kamla in Mulana, Ambala 15 days ago. There two friends Babli resident of Khudda and Savita alias Reena resident of Khojipur also met him. It is alleged that her three friends took her to a sweet shop. Came back after having dinner there. From the next day Nohani took him to the Gurudwara. Where her name was changed and Manpreet Kaur was kept. After this he went to a shop to have food.
It is alleged that he was given drugs in the food. Due to which she fainted. When she regained consciousness, she was at the house of Mohan Singh, a resident of Nohni. His clothes were lying apart. She was raped. It is alleged that Mohan Singh himself raped her. Later, in the name of getting him exorcised, she had also taken him to a Maulvi in Garhi Raipurrani. Where the tree was blown.
