According to the information, Rizwan Thar, a resident of Kelakheda, had come to Rudrapur with a car. At 4 o’clock in the evening, he was standing near a hotel on the Haldwani Highway, when suddenly three youths, who were already seated, forcibly put Rizwan in their car and took him towards the Haldwani Highway. As soon as the news of the youth being picked up in broad daylight was received, the police started collecting information about the case with enthusiasm. Right now the police was verifying the matter that the news was received that Rizwan was lying on the side of Haldwani Highway in a semi-conscious condition soaked in blood. After the identification of the seriously injured youth, the youth was first admitted to a private hospital and later the police cordoned off one of the Thar-riding youth’s attackers near the Kotwali border and the Kelakheda police cordoned off the other accused.
