Moradabad police implement traffic diversion plan in view of Mahashivratri festival
Moradabad. The festival of Mahashivratri will be celebrated on 18.02.2023, on this occasion, the Hindu community will take water from haridwar, Narora, Rishikesh, Garhmukteshwar etc. through various places like Kawand etc. Water abhishek is done by walking in Shiva temples by vehicles and going to Shiva temples. Worship is done. Heavy vehicles such as trucks, DCMs, canters, goods vehicles, tractors, buses (including roadways buses) / buses are required to move heavy vehicles. On the occasion of Shivaratri festival, the diversion is done from 08.00 hrs on 14.02.2023 to 18.00 hrs on 18.02.2023 as follows:
Traffic Diversion- Arrangement for route diversion of heavy vehicles outside the district:-
1- All heavy vehicles going from Bareilly to Delhi (such as trucks, tractors, etc.) via Milk Shahbad, Bilari, Sirsi, Sammal, Gaon. Narora will reach Delhi via Dibai, Shikarpur, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Ghaziabad and will reach Bareilly from Delhi on the same route.
2- All heavy vehicles coming from Rampur towards Moradabad (such as trucks, tractors, etc.) will come to Moradabad district via Shahabad, Bilari, Kundarki and will go back through this route.
3- All heavy vehicles going from Moradabad to Delhi and Meerut (such as heavy vehicles like trucks, tractors etc.) Bilari, Sirsi, Sambhal, Gaon, Narora, Dibai. They will reach Delhi via Shikarpur, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Ghaziabad and will return by this route and will go to Meerut via Hapur-Meerut and return by this route.
- Amroha to Rampur All heavy vehicles going towards Bareilly (such as trucks, tractors, etc.) will reach Rampur via Kailsha, Bagadpur, Dingarpur Tiraha Pakbada via Dingarpur, Kundarki, Bilari, Shahabad and return via this route.
- Moradabad to Bijnor All heavy vehicles going to Haridwar (such as trucks, tractors, etc.) will pass through Kashipur Tiraha via Thakurdwara Bhootpuri Intersection (Afzalgarh), Sherkot, Dhampur, Nahtaur via Bijnor/ Bijnor. We will go to Haridwar and come back through this route.Light vehicles going from Dhampur to Moradabad will reach Syohara, Surjannagar, Thakurdwara, Bhojpur and Kashipur Tiraha and return through this route.
- Bijnor Road to Bareilly Rampur-bound light vehicles will pass through Thakurdwara bypass from Kothiwal Dental College Cut to Rampur via Bhojpur, Kashipur Tiraha. We will go to Bareilly. In view of the number of Kanwariyas and the busyness of the road, light vehicles coming from Bijnor can be passed from Agwanpur bypass to TMU via highway towards Rampur Bareilly.
- Roadways/buses coming from Rampur to Moradabad. Private buses will come from NH-09 via Dalpatpur Zero Point to the temporary bus stand Kashipur Tiraha Prem Wonder Land flyover and will go back through this route. But as the pressure of Kanwar Yatra increases, roadways buses coming from Rampur will come to the temporary bus stand Azad Nagar Mor via Shahabad, Bilari, Kunderki and will go back through this route.
- Moradabad to Delhi/Delhi Roadways leading to Meerut The private buses will ply from Stand Azad Nagar Mor to Sambhal Cut to Old Toll Plaza I via Gajraula Garh towards Delhi and Meerut and return via this route. But as the pressure of Kanwar Yatra increased, Moradabad temporary bus stand from Azad Nagar Mor to Delhi/ Delhi. Roadways to Meerut Private buses pass through Bilari, Sirsi, Sambhal, Gaon, Narora, Dibai, Shikarpur, Bulandshahr and reach Delhi

She will go to Meerut and come back through this route. - Moradabad to Bijnor Roadways to Haridwar Private buses can be used from Azad Nagar Mor to Sambhal Cut Old Toll Plaza 1 to Bagarpur Cut, Agwanpur Bypass, Sherwa Intersection, Chhajalat, Noorpur via Bijnor/ Bijnor. They will go to Haridwar and come back through this route. But if there is more pressure of Kanwar Yatra, the roadways / roadways are being increased. Private buses will pass through temporary bus stand Kashipur Tiraha Prem Wonder Land Bridge via Thakurdwara Bhootpuri Intersection (Afzalgarh), Sherkot, Dhampur, Nahtaur via Bijnor/ Bijnor. We will go to Haridwar and come back through this route.
Note: In view of Mahashivratri festival, the entry of all types of heavy and cargo vehicles in the city area will be completely prohibited from 08.00 am on 14.02.2023 to 18.00 pm on 18.02.2023. It can be changed as per requirement.
