Government approves 10 percent reservation bill for state agitators

Approval of the bill for Umbrella Act for private universities, 25 percent exemption in admission and fees to the students of the state.

Many important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. The most important decision taken was that the government has approved the 10 percent reservation bill for the state agitators. Along with this, the government has also approved the creation of an Umbrella Act and Bill for the government universities of the state.
In the cabinet meeting, along with the approval of the bill for the Umbrella Act for the private universities of the state, 25 percent admission and fee waiver to the students of the state was also approved. The supplementary budget was approved in the meeting. At the same time, the GST Amendment Bill was also approved. Approval has also been given to the Public Debt Bill in the meeting. Along with this, approval has been given for daily wages, outsourcing, maternity, paternity and child care leave for contractual employees.
