State Medical Services Selection Board released year wise merit list
Dehradun. Government hospitals will soon get 1377 nursing officers. The State Medical Services Selection Board has released the year-wise merit list and sent the names of the selected candidates to the Directorate General of Health. The Directorate General of Health will soon deploy these nursing officers who have found place in the merit list in the government hospitals located in the hilly areas of the state.
Controller of Examinations Prof. Vijay Juyal said that the Directorate General of Health had provided the requisition to the Board to fill 1564 vacant posts of male and female nursing officers in various government hospitals of the state. Regarding which the selection board had invited online applications from qualified candidates. After inviting online applications, year wise merit list was prepared after checking all the documents of the candidates. In which 1461 female and male nursing officers were selected in the merit list against the total vacant posts. Of these, 1377 candidates have been selected under different categories, whereas due to non-availability of candidates for 103 posts of different categories, these posts have been carried forward for future.
At the same time, the final result of 84 candidates who got places in the year-wise merit list has been withheld due to the writ petitions pending in the High Court. Thus, against 1564 vacant posts, the final merit list has been released for 1377 posts. Under which, the number of Nursing Officer Female (Diploma Holder) category is 748, Nursing Officer Female (Degree Holder) is 370, Nursing Officer Male (Diploma Holder) is 163 and 96 has been selected in the Nursing Officer Male (Degree Holder) category.
