Haridwar. A person riding a bike died in a road accident near Chiddarwala on Raiwala-Dehradun road, while another is seriously injured. The accident happened due to an unknown vehicle hitting the bike. The police is investigating the matter
According to the Raiwala police, at around 5 pm on Tuesday evening, information was received from the police control room that a bike had met with an accident before the Chhiddarwala check post. When the local police reached the spot on information, two persons riding a bullet motorcycle, Pushpendra s/o Baburam resident of Kehda police station Laksar Haridwar and Amit s/o Vijender resident of Dhadheki Akbarpur police station Mangalore Haridwar were found injured. Both of them were sent to AIIMS Rishikesh through 108 service. Where doctors declared Pushpendra dead. The condition of seriously injured Amit is also said to be very serious. Police is probing the cause of the accident
