Husband and wife committed suicide in Dehradun, 4-day-old newborn kept crying near the dead bodies

The newborn was admitted to the hospital, the reason for the death of the couple is not clear

Dehradun. Husband and wife committed suicide in a closed room. For three days, a 4-day-old newborn remained among the dead bodies of the parents.
About three days old bodies of husband and wife have been found in a house on Turner Road in Clemons Town. A newborn child of the couple was lying in the middle of the dead bodies, he has been admitted to the hospital. According to the police, Kasif (25), a resident of UP Nagal Saharanpur, lived with his wife Anam (20) in a rented house on Turner Road in Dehradun. He had a second marriage with Anam a year ago. The wife lives in the village. She returned to the room on June 8 after giving birth to a son in a private hospital in Dehradun. Kasif used to talk to the first wife daily, but after June 10, she did not call him. Worried, the second wife reached Dehradun on Tuesday. The door was locked from inside, foul smell was coming from the room. Fearing untoward incident, the woman called a relative on the spot. When the police reached the information after breaking the door, they saw the rotten dead bodies of the couple lying on the ground. A five-day-old newborn was lying motionless between the two bodies. The police immediately took the child to Doon Hospital in an ambulance.
Taking the dead body of the couple, the police sent them to the mortuary at Coronation Hospital for post-mortem. On the other hand, Clemtontown Police Station President Shishupal Singh Rana told that the dead bodies are about three years old. Prima facie it seems to be suicide. The real cause of death will be known after the post-mortem.
Police is also scanning Kasif’s mobile phone to know the cause of death. The police have seized the phones of Kasif and his dead wife. Along with call recording, the people who were in contact with him are also being questioned
