Quarrel between husband and wife, complaint of dowry death
Rudrapur. In Bajpur, there was such a fight between the couple over the stray dog’s child that the wife hanged herself in the noose. Police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The brother of the deceased has filed a complaint against five in-laws including brother-in-law alleging murder for dowry.
Suraj Saini, a resident of Bally under police post Bannakheda, was taking home a stray dog on Wednesday. SSI Vikram Singh Dhami said that during the investigation, it has come to know that there was an argument between the couple regarding the puppy. Angered by this, 21-year-old Urmila hanged herself in the house. Police has sent the dead body to Kashipur for postmortem after filling the panchnama in the presence of revenue administration.
Deceased’s brother, Dinesh’s son late Khub Chand, resident of Nai Sadak Barhaini, has accused her husband and other in-laws of dowry death by filing a complaint at Bannakheda police station.
