Kashipur. Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya has put an end to the discussions of contesting elections from Nainital-USnagar or Almora-Pithoragarh Lok Sabha seat. He said that he is not in the race for ticket for the Lok Sabha elections. He will campaign for the party candidates on all five seats of the state.
Yashpal Arya, who reached the Congress conference of Kumaon division, said that the agenda of Congress in the Lok Sabha elections is social harmony, social justice, development and culture. Arya said that BJP is trying to divide the country. Democracy is being weakened. Animosity is being promoted. The weaker sections of the country are scared. Congress believes in taking everyone along.
Arya claimed that in the current situation the entire country is looking towards Congress. On the question of discussions about contesting Lok Sabha elections, Arya said that he is not involved in the race for the ticket. He wants that as a Congress worker, he should campaign in favor of the party’s authorized candidate on all the five Lok Sabha seats of Uttarakhand and play a role in ensuring the party’s victory on all the seats.
