IG Kumaon raided midnight, 4 police personnel missing from duty, line spot, 3 home guards salary cut

Inspection done on the streets of Haldwani to test the vigilance of the police, personnel found on duty were praised

. Kumaon’s Inspector General of Police Dr. Nilesh Anand Bharne went out on night inspection. On being found missing from duty, a head constable and four constables were made to appear on the line with immediate effect. Instructions have been given to withhold one day’s salary of three home guards.
Taking the duty chart from the city control room on Friday night at 11.55 minutes, the IG took a surprise review of the patrolling, picketing, patrolling etc. duties of police station Kotwali Haldwani, Mukhani, Banbhulpara in Haldwani area. Encouraged the police personnel found alert on duty. A head constable and 4 constables, who were not available on duty, were made to line up. Instructions have been given to deduct one day’s salary of three home guards.
Head constable Sanjit Rana, constable Vijay Verma, who were present on the line, were found absent from the workshop line from Cheeta Mobile Tikonia. Constable Kamlesh Naula Cheeta was absent on the Mobile Bareilly Road Highway. Arun Kumar Cheeta of Constable Md. Azim was found absent at Mobile Rampur Road Sargam TalkiesHome guards Nirmal, Sarjit Singh, Gopal Ram were ordered to deduct one day’s salary. It is the responsibility of the night officer to check the duty at night, so the night officer is also being investigated
