He initiated demolition proceedings on the basis of prior demolition orders of the two-storey commercial building being constructed above parda dhara in Mallital. He said that he has taken 10 labourers from Municipal Corporation Haldwani, 10 from Haldwani city and eight from Nainital. After this, the building was demolished with the help of drillers, queues, cube hammers etc.
