According to the police, a youth resident of Prakriti Vihar has given a complaint. It has been said in Tahrir that some time ago he saw an advertisement of marriage on a website. When inquired, the people of the female side got ready for the marriage. During this, the woman along with her father, mother, elder sister, uncle pressurized her for early marriage.
The date of May 3 was fixed for the marriage. During this, he had booked hotel etc. along with the invitation letter. Meanwhile, on April 25, he came to know that the woman was already married. He got divorced in March itself. When asked the reason for hiding the fact of being married, the female side threatened to file a dowry case. In lieu of this, they started demanding 30 lakh rupees. On the complaint of the aggrieved party, the police have registered a case against five accused including the woman. The police is investigating the matter.
