Haldwani. A sensational case has come to light from Haldwani Transport Nagar Chowki area. Here the security guard’s wife beat him to death. There was a dispute between the couple over drinking. An angry wife beat her husband with a pipe used in the curtain. The husband died on the stairs of the house.
Laxman Singh Bhanwal (46), a resident of Rampur Road Devalchod Endowment, was a security guard in Siddharth Nagar. Lived with wife Geeta and 9-year-old son Divyanshu. According to the police, Laxman had come home after drinking alcohol. Wife Geeta was busy with household chores, while son Divyanshu was away at school. There was a dispute between Geeta and Laxman over drinking alcohol. As the dispute escalated, Laxman started a scuffle with Geeta. Meanwhile, Geeta got hold of the pipe used to hang the curtain and she hit Laxman five to six times with the pipe. The injured Laxman sat on the steps of the house. In the evening, the son informed Tau Kundan Bhanwal about his father’s condition. When Kundan Singh reached the spot, Laxman had already died.
