Haridwar. An employee of his shop in Delhi demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore from an industrialist of Sidcul over phone and threatened to kill him. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation.
Ashwani Garg s/o Labbhuram Garg resident Sidkul told in the complaint that he is running the pharmaceutical company since 2014. A young man named Rohit used to work at a shop in Delhi. It is alleged that two other youths had slowly stolen medicines worth about two crore rupees from the shop. A case was registered against all of them at Kotwali Chandni Chowk. It is alleged that Rohit Kumar called on his phone through an app and asked for a ransom of one crore rupees and told him to withdraw the theft case. Threatened to implicate in false case if both the demands are not fulfilled.
The entrepreneur alleges that those who can steal crores of rupees from his shop can do anything. Station in-charge Naresh Rathore said that a case has been registered against Rohit and his wife, residents of Soni Bazar Road, third floor, Sonia Delhi, Narsingh Maurya and Shatrughan residents, Gana Sidkul.
