Seeing the danger of wild animals, the police administration took this step
Rishikesh. During the Shree Neelkanth Mahadev Temple Yatra in the month of Shravan, it will remain closed from 6.00 pm to 5.00 am in view of the danger of wild animals on the footpath. This area of the walkway comes under the Rajaji Tiger Reserve forest area.
Senior Superintendent of Police Pauri Garhwal Shweta Choubey while giving information about the traffic plan in the area during the Kavad Yatra said that the park administration has been asked to increase regular patrolling on the footpath. Force is being deployed separately to prevent accidents due to bathing of Kavad passengers on the Barrage-Chila Shakti Canal.
Rishikesh-Munikireti-Garuda Chatti-Pipalkoti-Neelkanth Temple route has been decided to go to Shri Neelkanth Mahadev Temple to keep the traffic system smooth.
Neelkanth- Peepalkoti- Garud Chatti- Barrage Bypass- Pashulok Barrage- Rishikesh-Haridwar route has been fixed for evacuation from the temple
In Shravan, the pedestrian path of Shri Neelkanth Mahadev Temple will be closed from 6 pm to 5 am.
