. 82 matches of the upcoming domestic season of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be played at Dehradun grounds. These include Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, Women’s Under-19 T20 Trophy, Women’s Under-23 ODI Trophy, Women’s Under-15 ODI Trophy. Some of the veteran players of the Indian team will also come to Doon to play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy starting from October 16.
Looking at the infrastructure of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU), the BCCI has given Uttarakhand the opportunity to host four tournaments in the upcoming domestic season. The most important of these is the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. In this, Uttarakhand will host the Elite E Group. In this group, the teams of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Tripura and Nagaland will play in Dehradun.
The tournament will be played from 16 to 27 October. Players like Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal, IPL star Rinku Singh, Devdutt Padikkal, Avesh Khan etc. will also come in this. Entry for spectators at the venues of these matches will be free. Viewers will be able to watch their favorite players play on the field for free.
Apart from the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, Uttarakhand has hosted Women’s Under-19 T20 Trophy, Women’s Under-23 ODI Trophy and Women’s Under-15 ODI Trophy. Teams from Bihar, Karnataka, Nagaland, Vidarbha, Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand will play in the Women’s Under-19 T-20 Trophy. Teams from Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Punjab, Arunachal Pradesh, Railways and Chhattisgarh will play in the Women’s Under-23 ODI Trophy. At the same time, teams from Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal, Chhattisgarh and Odisha will participate in the Women’s Under-15 ODI Trophy.
