Khalistani supporter Amritpal feared hiding in Uttarakhand, posters pasted at public places
Rudrapur. Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh is feared to be hiding in Uttarakhand. Regarding this, checking has been increased at the interstate and international borders. Posters of Amritpal have also been pasted at public places. Intelligence agencies have been activated. Due to the possibility of Amritpal Singh fleeing abroad via Nepal, checking was started on the Nepal border. Nepal is combing with APF and SSB.
On the possibility of Amritpal coming towards Uttarakhand, the Udham Singh Nagar Police has sealed the border with the neighboring country Nepal as well as the Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly and Pilibhit borders. Police and PAC have been deployed on the border and checking has been started. The police have pasted posters in the railway, bus station as well as in the market area. Police and PAC force have been alerted in Kashipur, Jaspur, Bajpur, Kunda, Gadarpur, Rudrapur, Kichha, Sitarganj, Nanakmatta and Khatima.
