Kabadi married a Hindu widow, got her four minor children converted

Confirmation in DM’s investigation on complaint of Hinduist leader, case filed against Kabadi
Dehradun.
A Muslim man working as a scrap first married a Hindu widow and forcibly converted her four minor children. This has been confirmed in the investigation conducted at the level of District Magistrate on the complaint of Hindu organizations. Police has started investigation by registering a case against Kabadi under the Uttarakhand Freedom of Religion Act.
Inspector-in-charge of Doiwala Kotwali, Rajesh Shah told that Santosh Rajput, resident of Simlas Grant, Dehradun, District Dharmacharya chief of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, had complained about this in January. It was told that a woman from Jharkhand came to live with her four sons in Keshavpuri Basti. The woman’s husband has died. She was living here by picking junk.
Indira Colony Keshavpuri Basti resident Naeem came in contact with the woman. Naeem is a scrap dealer by profession. The woman used to go to him to sell junk. It is alleged that last year he got the woman converted by persuasion and then married her on May 6. After a few months, he converted the four sons of the woman as well. When the District Magistrate Dehradun got the matter investigated, the complaint was found correct. Kotwali in-charge said that under the new law Uttarakhand Religion Freedom Act, it is necessary to take permission from the District Magistrate for conversion in such cases, but investigation revealed that the accused Naeem did not take any such permission. He said that investigation is going on in the matter. Action will also be taken against other persons involved in this act.
