Alert in Uttarakhand, vigilance from border to Terai region
Dehradun. Police has also become alert in Uttarakhand regarding Khalistan supporter and fugitive Amritpal Singh from Punjab. One can come to Uttarakhand by running away from Punjab in the Terai region of Uttarakhand. The possibility of Amritpal Singh running away to Nepal is also being expressed by the security agencies.
The Special Task Force of Uttarakhand Police has been entrusted with the responsibility of checking the activities going on on the internet media. At the same time, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar has instructed SSP Udham Singh Nagar to increase checking and vigilance.
Punjab Police has started a major operation against Khalistan supporter and separatist Amritpal Singh and his associates accused of attack on Ajnala police station in Punjab. Many associates of Amritpal Singh have been arrested and sent to jails. Meanwhile, Amritpal ran away from Punjab. Apart from Punjab’s neighboring states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, vigilance has also been increased in Uttarakhand.
